About Us

Cosita Club began with a simple belief: small things make a big difference.

As a mother and daughter, we’ve both felt how overwhelming wellness can be - conflicting advice, unrealistic standards, and the pressure to do it all perfectly. We wanted to create a space where guidance is trustworthy, realistic and actually enjoyable.

In Spanish, Cosita means ‘little thing.’ That’s exactly our approach - swapping the extremes in favour of small, consistent habits that actually build strength and confidence.

Through 1:1 nutrition, Pilates, and community events, we help women feel more capable in their bodies and at ease in their lives. No matter where you’re starting from, you’re very welcome here.

Rafaela Bannerman

Founder & Pilates Instructor

Rafaela discovered Pilates five years ago and quickly realised it was more than just movement. It strengthened her body, but it also calmed her mind and eased anxiety in a way nothing else had.

Seeing its impact, from friends managing endometriosis to those recovering from injury, inspired her to train as an instructor.

Now, she’s passionate about making Pilates feel welcoming and accessible to all. Her focus isn’t perfection or performance, but helping people build strength, confidence and a genuine connection to their bodies.

Outside the studio, she’s usually reading, planning her next trip, or testing new recipes for a dinner party.

Joanna Bannerman

Nutritional Therapist (DipCNM)

Joanna is a qualified Nutritional Therapist (DipCNM), registered with BANT and CNHC, and a mum of four. Her journey into nutritional therapy was personal.

After entering her forties feeling strong and confident, perimenopause brought unexpected anxiety and a loss of self-assurance. Determined to understand what was happening, she completed four years of training in nutritional therapy and discovered just how powerful food and lifestyle can be in restoring balance.

Today, Joanna supports women with practical, science-backed guidance that feels both empowering and achievable, helping them feel like themselves again.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find her walking her dog, tending her garden, or growing her own fruit and vegetables - something she believes everyone can try, no matter how small the space.
